Visit Paraty – Our story

We started our journey in 2015 wanting to share one of the most beautiful landscapes and surroundings that we had seen throughout our trips with a view (of the Paraty Bay) that amazed us and provided unforgettable moments.

Without giving us a story, more and more people wanted to come and enjoy this little piece of paradise. After more than 300 evaluations with very positive comments on different tourist rental platforms we decided to create this website to show our properties in a more direct and personalized way. Along the way, we were also offered the possibility of managing other properties and thus achieving success with the same enthusiasm, affection and professionalism.

We have more than 25 years working in different sectors of the tourism industry (airline companies, language courses abroad, customer service…) and always with the same spirit, which is offering what we seek when we travel: comfortable, clean accommodation , reliable and with something that differentiates it from the rest.

Paraty Island

Recently nominated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its culture, history and biodiversity, Paraty is undoubtedly the most complete of Brazil’s tourist cities as it brings together different attractions: a well-preserved colonial historic center, a vibrant cultural life (FLIP Festival, Bourbon Festival , Paraty in focus…), careful gastronomy and all this surrounded by a privileged environment: The exuberant Serra da Bocaina National Park, a coastline that has 65 islands, more than 300 beaches, most of them semi-desert with abundant nature and countless rivers.

Another of Paraty’s attractions is the artisanal production of cachaça (cachaça), with numerous stills spread across the city producing cachaça of recognized prestige. Also the existence of ceramic artisans, painters, sculptors…

In Paraty there are still Guarani indigenous populations (municipalities of Paraty Mirim and Iriri), quilombolas (communities of descendants of fugitive slaves) and rural and caiçara communities.

All these attractions make Paraty a city like no other in Brazil.
